Synopsis

Brief

Because of the lockdown restrictions, the annual Carling Cup pre-season tournament was cancelled.

We needed to create a whole new Carling Cup game from the previous 8 Carling Cup games.

Context

In a year when sporting events were impossible, we created an impossible game by stitching 8 previous Carling Cup games into 1 new 90-minute match.

The greatest game ever re-played.

Radio Ad 1 Rationale

In a game where anything can happen, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to have Knowledge Musona, a Kaizer Chiefs Striker from the 2011 squad, Khama Billiat, a Kaizer Chiefs midfielder from the 2019 squad, and Morgan Gould, a Kaizer Chiefs centre-back from the 2014 squad line up to take a penalty. Right? Well, anything can happen in the greatest game ever re-played.

 

Radio Ad 2 Rationale

In a game where anything can happen, it wouldn't be surprising that Lebohang Majoro, a Kaiser Chiefs player in 2011 and Orlando Pirates player in 2013, would score for both Kaiser Chiefs and Orlando Pirates. In one game. Right? Well, anything can happen in the greatest game ever re-played.
